A pair of white metal three-light candelabra designed in a traditional 18th-century manner. Each piece features a central baluster-shaped stem rising from a stepped, octafoil-style base decorated with foliate embossing and gadrooned borders. The two scrolling branches support bell-shaped sconces with wide, integrated drip pans, flanking a central matching sconce. The surface exhibits a polished finish that shows significant thinning and dark spotting, suggesting a base metal beneath the white metal exterior. No assay marks or maker’s names are legible on the bases or stems. A yellow adhesive label is present on the stem of one candelabrum featuring the handwritten numerals 5227.
