Common Questions
Do I need a grant of probate before you can begin?
Not necessarily for the initial assessment. We can value the estate and discuss next steps beforehand. A formal grant is typically needed before items are sold.
How much does probate clearance cost?
Costs vary depending on the property. In many cases, auction proceeds offset or completely cover the clearance cost. We always provide a transparent quote.
How are auction proceeds handled?
Items sold are itemised with hammer prices. After commission, net proceeds are paid directly to the estate executor. Full documentation is provided.
Do you work with solicitors?
Yes, we regularly work alongside solicitors and estate administrators to provide the documentation they need.
What happens to items that can't be sold?
Suitable items are donated to charity. Remaining items are disposed of responsibly and in compliance with waste regulations.
