An assortment of five stylized ceramic animal figurines by Poole Pottery. The collection features four figures finished in a mottled turquoise-blue dolphin glaze, including a large seated cat with upright ears, two otters? depicted in a seated posture holding prey, and a seal positioned upon a black-glazed rock-form base. A fifth figurine depicts a dolphin in a jumping pose, finished in a contrasting high-gloss black glaze. The figures are characterised by smooth, rounded forms typical of mid-20th-century British studio pottery. The underside of the blue-glazed pieces bears a black printed rectangular stamp reading POOLE ENGLAND in two rows.
