Two hand-painted puppet heads of composition / papier-mâché construction. The heads are designed with hollow necks and are of the type typically used for hand puppets. One head features a bald crown with a prominent, multi-coloured pointed hat decorated in dark red and yellow, a wide grin with visible teeth, and hand-painted blue-green eyes. The second head depicts a character with a large, bulbous nose, brown-painted hair, and red-flushed cheeks. Both heads show a coarse, fibrous texture to the interior of the neck openings. There are no maker marks or manufacturer names legible on either piece.
