A vintage mechanical alarm clock by the German manufacturer Mauthe. The clock is housed in a white metal case with a polished finish, designed in the style of a large pocket watch with two integral peg feet and a suspension ring at the twelve o’clock position. The cream-coloured dial features luminous green-tinted Arabic numerals, a central sub-dial for alarm setting below the twelve, and a red sweep hand. The dial is printed with a cursive script mark reading Mauthe and MADE IN GERMANY below the six. The case side features four recessed brass plates stamped Repeat, Steady, Silent, and Alarm, serving as selector switches for the bell alarm mechanism. The reverse is fitted with two winding keys marked with bell icons, two adjustment knobs, and a regulator slot marked + and -.
