A Royal Crown Derby bone china dinner plate decorated in the 1128 Old Imari pattern. The circular vessel features a shallow well and is ornately decorated in the traditional Imari palette of underglaze cobalt blue, iron-red enamel, and 22 carat gold gilding. The central design comprises a floral medallion with six radiating petals, enclosed by a border of twelve alternating panels. These panels consist of stylized iron-red flowers on a navy ground with gold scrollwork, and white diaper-patterned lozenges on a textured dark ground. The base bears a printed red backstamp featuring a crown above a monogram of intertwined ‘D’ and ‘C’ characters, surrounded by the words ROYAL CROWN DERBY and ENGLISH BONE CHINA. Below this are the pattern number 1128 and the Roman numerals XLIII, alongside a red hand-painted letter B and a faint green mark e.
