A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china dinner plate decorated in the 1128 Old Imari pattern. The circular plate features a wide rim and slightly recessed centre, decorated with a rich palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and heavy 22 carat gold gilding. The central motif consists of a stylized six-petal floral medallion, surrounded by a border of alternating panels containing red flowers and geometric diaper work. The underside bears a printed orange-red backstamp consisting of a crown over an interlaced A and D cypher, encircled by the words ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLISH BONE CHINA and a copyright symbol. Below this are the pattern number 1128 and the Roman numeral date code XLIII. A small hand-painted red Z and a faint green mark are also present near the foot rim.
