The central medallion consists of a stylised floral motif, surrounded by alternating panels of geometric diaper latticework and floral sprays. The base bears a printed red backstamp featuring a crown over a monogram, encircled by the words ROYAL CROWN DERBY and ENGLISH BONE CHINA. Below the mark is a copyright symbol, the pattern number 1128, and the Roman numeral date code XLIII, alongside hand-painted marks O in red and K in green.
