A Royal Crown Derby bone china cabinet plate decorated in the traditional Old Imari 1128 pattern. The circular vessel features a central floral medallion within six radiating panels, alternating between stylized floral motifs on a white ground and gold-toned honeycomb diaper patterns over cobalt blue. The border is composed of alternating panels of iron-red floral blooms and geometric patterns, finished with heavy 22 carat gold-toned gilding to the rim. The base bears a printed red backstamp featuring a crown over a monogram of interlaced ‘D’ and ‘C’ within a circle, surrounded by the words ‘ROYAL CROWN DERBY’, ‘ENGLISH BONE CHINA’, and a copyright symbol. Below the circle are the pattern number ‘1128’ and the Roman numerals ‘XLIII’, denoting a production year of 1980. A hand-painted red ‘X’ mark is also present to the underside.
