A Royal Crown Derby bone china plate decorated in the 1128 Old Imari pattern. The vessel features a complex geometric and floral design rendered in underglaze cobalt blue, overglaze iron red, and heavy 22 carat gold gilding. The central medallion consists of a stylized floral star within a radiating segmented border. The rim is divided into alternating panels, featuring orange floral motifs on a blue and gold foliate ground, and a geometric honeycomb pattern with scale details. The underside of the base bears a circular red printed backstamp comprising a crown over an interlaced D and A monogram, surrounded by the text ROYAL CROWN DERBY BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND. The pattern number 1128 is printed horizontally in red, alongside the vertical Roman numeral date cypher XLIII. Additional hand-painted artist or gilder marks are present in gold-toned, red, and green pigment.
