A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china side plate decorated in the traditional 1128 Old Imari pattern. The circular vessel features a central floral medallion surrounded by a segmented border of alternating panels. These panels comprise geometric diaper patterns and stylised floral sprays, including chrysanthemums and peonies, rendered in a rich palette of cobalt blue and iron red. The decoration is enhanced with extensive 22 carat gold gilt highlights and a gadrooned rim finished in gold. The reverse bears a red printed backstamp reading ROYAL CROWN DERBY, ENGLISH BONE CHINA, below a crown and intertwined D monogram. It further features the pattern number 1128 and the Roman numerals XLIII. Additionally, there is a hand-painted mark in red resembling an x and a green mark resembling a y.
