A pair of limited edition offset lithographic prints after original works by the British sporting artist John Trickett. The first print depicts a winter field sports scene with a lone figure carrying a gun accompanied by a black Labrador retriever in a snow-dusted landscape featuring a prominent central tree. The second print depicts a wildfowling scene at dusk or dawn, showing two figures and a dog in a marshy river landscape with ducks in flight. Both prints are presented in matching gilt-moulded frames with deep brown mounts. The first print is inscribed in pencil at the lower left “A limited edition of 850 prints signed by the artist of which this is No 394” and is hand-signed in pencil J Trickett at the lower right. The second print is inscribed “A limited edition of 850 prints signed by the artist of which this is No 236” and is similarly signed J Trickett. Each print also bears a plate signature reading John Trickett.
