A group of four framed artworks comprising two historical monochrome photographs and two landscape prints. The first photograph depicts a large assembly of men before ‘The Two Brewers’ public house, featuring a horse-drawn omnibus for ‘A. Pelham’ and signage for ‘Welch Ale Brewery’s’. The second photograph shows a group of men and a youth outside a shopfront for ‘Collier’, with prominent signage advertising the purchase of rags, bones, bottles, and cloth cuttings. The third item is a blue-toned landscape print depicting a river scene with industrial chimneys, a distant church spire, and figures on the shore. The fourth item is a large landscape print portraying a mountain lake at sunset with autumnal trees. All items are housed in stained wooden frames with gilt-metal effect inner borders. The photographs and blue print are set within card mounts. A small gilt-metal effect plaque is fixed to the lower frame of the mountain landscape, though the text is not legible.
