A limited edition offset lithographic print featuring British game birds in a winter landscape, after the original by R. W. Milliken. The composition depicts three pheasants (Phasianus colchicus) including two hens and a cock bird perched upon a snow-dusted gnarled branch, with a woodcock (Scolopax rusticola) in flight in the upper left quadrant. The scene is set against a sparse woodland background with birches and dried ferns amongst the snow. The print is signed in the plate at the lower right R. W. Milliken and is hand-numbered in pencil 15/150. A printed inscription along the lower-left margin reads limited edition of 150 published by the British Association for Shooting & Conservation, Marford Mill, Rossett, Wrexham, Clwyd. © 1985. The artwork is presented in a double-ruled buff mount within a dark wood-effect frame with a gilt inner fillet.
