A contemporary oil painting on canvas executed after the celebrated work The Singing Butler by Jack Vettriano. The composition depicts a central dancing couple on a coastal shoreline, flanked by a butler and a maid who hold black umbrellas aloft against a gusting wind. The work is rendered in a saturated colour palette featuring a vibrant yellow and orange beach under a stormy grey and blue sky. The painting is currently presented as an unframed, loose canvas which has been stored rolled. The canvas edges appear irregularly cut from a larger roll, and adhesive tape is present on the reverse edges. No artist signature or maker mark is visible on the front or reverse of the textile support.
