A Poole Pottery glazed earthenware figurine featuring a tiered composition of three leaping dolphins. The piece is slip-cast with a dynamic, curvilinear form, depicting the marine mammals rising from a stylized, wave-form base. The decoration employs a variegated reactive glaze, with the dorsal surfaces of the dolphins finished in a high-gloss black, transitioning to a mottled delphinium blue and teal palette on the underbellies and the sea base. The underside of the hollow base features a printed black ink mark reading POOLE over ENGLAND in a sans-serif typeface. A small circular firing hole and a green felt protective pad are also present on the unglazed foot rim.
