An assortment of industrial and maritime interest items including three vintage metal petrol pump clock-face dial plates and a commemorative plaque. The dial plates are constructed from painted sheet metal with cast metal components. Each bears the Beckmeter script mark in a rectangular frame to the upper left and instructions in the upper right reading ‘See that both hands are at ZERO before delivery commences’. Centrally marked ‘GALLONS’ below a circular numbered dial from 0 to 19, the plates feature cast metal tags at the top and bottom marked ‘0’ and ‘1/2 GAL’. Two of the plates include horizontal viewing apertures while the third presents a solid face with a weathered yellow patina. The lot also includes a brass? commemorative maritime plaque mounted on a wooden base, etched with the following inscription: ‘TO COMMEMORATE / THE FIRST CALL OF THE / SS NIEUW AMSTERDAM / OF THE HOLLAND-AMERICA LINE / AT LAS CROABAS, PUERTO RICO / NOVEMBER 9, 1969 / EL CONQUISTADOR / HOTEL AND CLUB / LOU PURO, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD’.
