A two-piece vintage jewellery set in the Art Deco style, comprising a hinged clamper bracelet and a matching dress clip. The items are fashioned from a butterscotch-coloured phenolic / bakelite resin? and feature deep botanical carvings of stylized leaves. The carving is detailed with serrated edges and dark-tinted recessed veins to simulate natural foliage. The bracelet is constructed with a double-hinged base metal plate featuring a pin-locking clasp mechanism. The dress clip features a traditional spring-tensioned metal finding with four teeth for attachment to a garment. Both pieces exhibit the characteristic opaque, warm yellow-orange tone associated with aged phenolic resin. The metal hardware is characteristic of mass-produced findings from the 1930s or 1940s. There are no maker’s marks or signatures legible on the resin or the metal components.
