A Yixing zisha stoneware teapot of rounded, globose form. The piece is constructed from a matte, unglazed reddish-brown clay with a fine-grained texture. It features a short, curved spout, a large circular C-scroll handle, and a flat-topped lid with a small rounded finial pierced with a single steam vent. One side of the body is decorated with incised Chinese characters in a xingshu calligraphic style. The large characters are incised as ‘咏金刚经’, followed by a smaller column of text including the characters ‘丁青’ and ‘書’. The underside of the base bears a circular impressed seal mark in zhuanshu script, though the individual characters are not clearly legible as a name. A small, single-character square impressed seal is located at the base of the handle, but is likewise not legible.
