A pair of decorative candlesticks in the Baroque revival style, constructed from cast brass? / gilt metal effect? alloy. Each candlestick features a square, flared base supported by scrolled corner feet, decorated with relief foliate patterns and a central raised square section with a dentil border. The tapered stems incorporate a bulbous, decorated knop leading to a square drip pan with matching scroll decoration. The pair exhibits variation in the upper nozzle construction: one features a traditional deep cup-shaped holder, while the other possesses a shorter, decorated socket. Both pieces display visible surface tarnishing and areas of green oxidation, particularly within the recesses of the casting.
Height: Approximately 19 cm.
