An Art Nouveau style pendant of openwork teardrop form, constructed from 9ct yellow gold?. The design features a central floral motif suspended within a double-framed border. The central drop is set with three marquise-cut garnets? forming petals and two small white round seed pearls. The pendant is further decorated with a single circular-cut garnet? in a bezel setting, suspended from the base of the frame. The piece includes a simple loop suspension and a larger plain bail at the top. The reverse of the pendant is plain with no visible hallmarks or maker’s marks, though the metal has the appearance of low-carat yellow gold. The garnet settings feature fine serrated edges.
