A pair of sterling silver candlesticks by Broadway & Co. Each piece is designed in a trumpet form, featuring a circular, flared rim and a tapering stem that expands into a weighted pedestal base. The smooth, unadorned surface highlights the elegant silhouette of the modern minimalist style. The bases are weighted for stability and are finished with green felt pads to the underside. The edge of each circular base is struck with a full set of British hallmarks including the maker mark B & Co in a shield, a 925 fineness mark in an oval cartouche, the lion passant sterling silver mark, an anchor for the Birmingham assay office, and the date letter K for 1984. The word FILLED is also stamped to the base.
