A sterling silver ingot pendant of rectangular, slab-like form. The obverse is struck with a vertical series of four British hallmarks in individual cartouches. These comprise the maker’s mark JRT in a rectangular frame, an anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office, a lion passant standard mark denoting .925 purity sterling silver, and a lowercase g date letter for the year 1981. The reverse of the pendant features a textured, engine-turned ground decorated with bright-cut engraved foliate and floral motifs, including a starburst and a branch with leaves and berries. The item is suspended from a circular jump ring.
