A group of jewellery items primarily featuring Scottish and Celtic motifs. The collection includes a Scottish dirk and targe brooch in white metal, featuring a central red cabochon and framed by thistle leaves. A circular shield brooch is divided into six segments, each set with varied cabochons including green, white, and banded agate/jasper around a central red stone. Also included is a gold-tone gilt-metal effect bar brooch with a suspended four-lobed circular drop, featuring textured knotwork and four triangular stones in green, purple, blue, and yellow. A circular disc brooch depicts stylized interlocking human figures in a black transfer-printed Celtic zoomorphic style. The set is completed by a white metal eight-pointed star pendant featuring openwork Celtic knotwork. The reverse of the pendant is impressed with a copyright symbol followed by the maker’s name St Justin. The brooches utilize a variety of horizontal pins with C-clasp and roll-over safety mechanisms.
