A rectangular commemorative belt buckle with a slightly curved profile, featuring the branding of the American firearms company Henry’s Repeating Arms. The cast face displays a raised-relief design set against a stippled, hammered texture background, all enclosed within a beaded border. The upper section features the name HENRY’S in bold block lettering, positioned above a central depiction of a lever-action rifle. The rifle is flanked by the date 1866. The lower-left corner is marked NEW HAVEN CONN. and the lower-right features stylized, scrolling script reading REPEATING ARMS. The reverse of the buckle is fitted with a fixed metal loop and a single hook attachment. Centered on the back is an impressed mark consisting of a heraldic crest featuring a shield and bird above the text Adams & Adams? and the country-of-origin mark MADE IN ENGLAND. A further circular manufacturer’s seal is partially visible behind the loop hardware, though the text within is not clearly legible.
