A red glazed ceramic novelty table lamp modelled in the form of a British K6 style telephone box. The piece is of two-part construction, featuring a hollow rectangular cover with lattice-style window apertures and a moulded dome top, which rests over a square ceramic base housing the electrical fixture. The body is finished in a bright red glaze with the word TELEPHONE moulded in relief above each window section. The lamp is fitted with a white plastic electrical cord, an in-line rocker switch, and a standard UK three-pin plug which bears a blue PAT test security seal. It is shown with a modern LED filament candle-style bulb. A yellow adhesive label is present on the dome of the telephone box reading 7509L.
