A western-style commemorative belt buckle produced for Winchester-Western. The buckle is constructed from a heavy white metal with a cast high-relief central motif of the Winchester Rider, depicting a cowboy on a bucking horse. This central scene is set against a textured, translucent blue enamel background. The design is enclosed within a decorative scrolling border featuring a ribbon banner. The front of the buckle bears the relief text WINCHESTER-Western (R) on the banner and SINCE 1866 on the lower scroll. The reverse of the buckle features a textured finish and is fitted with a fixed metal hook and a foliate-decorated loop for belt attachment. A rectangular recessed mark on the reverse is stamped with the upside-down text T.M. REPRODUCED BY ARRANGEMENT WITH WINCHESTER-WESTERN NEW HAVEN, CONN. Additional circular marks on the reverse include a stylized interlaced monogram and the model number H-156.
