A preserved entomological specimen featuring a longhorn beetle, likely of the genus Cerambyx?. The beetle is characterised by its elongated, dark brown body and exceptionally long, segmented antennae that curve around the frame of the mount. The specimen is presented in a scientific glass-on-glass mount, consisting of a central circular well or lens section sealed against a flat square glass backing plate. The mounting technique allows for clear observation of the dorsal anatomy, including the textured elytra and articulated legs. Small fragments of organic debris are present within the sealed chamber. The mount is constructed with a visible yellowish sealant around the circumference of the inner circular chamber.
Width: 10.2 cm
Length: 4 cm (specimen body excluding antennae).
