An Edwardian style plant stand or torchere featuring a mahogany finished construction. The piece is designed with a circular top supported by a shallow, plain frieze. It stands on four slender, square-section legs that exhibit a slight taper towards the base before terminating in a gentle outward flare. A secondary circular shelf is positioned at a lower level between the legs, providing additional structural stability and display space. The top surface and the lower tier appear to be veneered. The piece is finished in a warm reddish-brown tone throughout. No maker marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surfaces of the stand.
