An assortment of Japanese? porcelain teaware comprising two distinct services. The first group features a black-glazed? finish decorated with raised moriage slip and enamels depicting traditional dragons and clouds in red, orange, and gold-toned effects. This service includes a tall coffee or chocolate pot with a domed lid and pointed finial, a squat sugar bowl with a matching lid, two teacups with bright gold-coloured wash interiors, and two saucers. The second group is a partial tea service in eggshell porcelain, hand-painted with landscape scenes including geisha figures, foliage, and mountains. The decoration is accented with gilding to the rims and handles, and the sky portions on the saucers feature raised moriage dot work. The saucers in this set are stacked, showing approximately five pieces. No maker marks or signatures are legible on the visible surfaces of the items.
