The exterior is finished with a mahogany-toned stain, while the internal drawer components and visible base sections are constructed from a lighter-toned softwood, likely pine. The piece is fitted with brass-toned ring pulls on the vertical drawers and small circular brass-toned knobs on the central drawers. The construction incorporates traditional joinery including dovetail joints to the drawer fronts.
