A pair of Stag Minstrel bedside chests of drawers, constructed in mahogany and mahogany veneers. Each chest features a rectangular top with a moulded edge above a bank of four graduated drawers. The drawer fronts are finished with highly figured flame or fiddleback mahogany veneers, framed by cross-banded borders. Each drawer is fitted with a single circular drop-ring handle on a round backplate, finished in a white metal. The chests are supported by a plinth base terminating in bracket-style feet. The construction reflects mid-to-late 20th-century British reproduction manufacturing, designed in the English Regency taste. While no maker marks are visible, the design, materials, and hardware are characteristic of the Minstrel range produced by Stag Furniture.
