A Novum Deluxe electric sewing machine of mid-century domestic design. The machine features a two-tone cream and tan enamelled finish and is mounted upon a wooden base. It is housed within a wooden cover lined with blue fabric and is accompanied by a secondary light blue and grey textured hard-shell carrying case. The unit is fitted with a black ribbed foot pedal and electrical cables. A grey enamelled metal tin is embossed with the wording ‘SEWING MACHINE Attachments’. An oval metal badge on the machine pillar is inscribed ‘MANUFACTURED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND BY NOVUM DELUXE’ and the arm features a red script mark reading ‘novum’. The lot includes a collection of vintage sewing and craft notions, including lace trimmings, embroidery floss, threads, ‘NEWEY’ snap fasteners, a ‘LIGHTNING’ brand zipper, and wooden knitting needles.
