A bronzed cast metal figurine of a fox and a gilt metal effect horse-drawn carriage. The sporting figurine depicts an alert fox standing before a two-rail rustic wooden fence, featuring a textured fur and wood-grain finish, mounted on an integral tiered rectangular base. The transport model consists of a single horse harnessed to an enclosed four-wheeled carriage with chain-link reins and spoked wheels, set upon a polished black and gold veined Portoro marble? plinth with a bevelled edge. Both pieces are constructed from cast metal with applied decorative finishes, exhibiting detailed casting to the horse’s musculature and the fox’s coat.
