A wood veneer floor-standing loudspeaker pair manufactured by Celestion. The cabinets are finished in a teak? / walnut? wood veneer and feature original black fabric grilles. Each loudspeaker bears a rectangular metal badge to the lower left corner of the front grille, featuring a logo of a stylized trumpet shape above the name ‘Celestion’ and the model designation ‘DITTON 44’. Lengths of copper speaker wire are attached to the terminals at the rear of each cabinet. One cabinet features a handwritten sequence in yellow chalk to the rear panel, possibly reading ‘1314L’ or similar. The loudspeakers represent high-fidelity British audio engineering from the 1970s. The internal drivers and crossover components have not been tested for functional operation.
