A white metal champagne bucket? of Campana form. The vessel features a flared rim with a decorative gadrooned border and two ornate cast scroll handles with foliate detailing attached to a bulbous body. The piece stands on a stepped circular pedestal foot with concentric tiered moulding. The entire exterior and interior surfaces exhibit heavy, iridescent oxidation with multi-coloured toning, ranging from amber to deep purple and blue. The handles are securely attached to the shoulders of the body, and the vessel displays a classic neo-classical silhouette associated with mid-20th century tableware. The interior shows similar levels of heavy oxidation and surface residue throughout the well.
