The collection includes various denominations struck in nickel-brass, cupro-nickel, and copper-plated steel. The set features the commemorative dual-dated 1992/1993 Fifty Pence coin, which celebrates the UK Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the completion of the Single European Market, with a reverse design by Mary Milner Dickens showing a conference table with twelve stars. Each coin bears the third definitive portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf on the obverse, with the legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REG·F·D·1993. The reverse designs include the Royal Arms on the one pound coin, a crowned rose on the twenty pence, a crowned lion on the ten pence, a crowned thistle on the five pence, Prince of Wales feathers on the two pence, and a crowned portcullis on the one penny.
