A Royal Mint commemorative presentation set celebrating the 150th anniversary of the London Underground. The set contains two £2 coins, both of bi-metallic construction featuring gold-coloured outer rings and silver-coloured inner cores. The first coin depicts the London Underground roundel logo set against a tile-patterned background, inscribed LONDON UNDERGROUND with the anniversary dates 1863-2013. The second coin features a steam locomotive emerging from a tunnel, inscribed UNDERGROUND with the dates 1863 and 2013. The coins are housed in an illustrated card folder titled Tales from the Tube, which is printed with The Royal Mint logo and the text 150 UNDERGROUND, 150th Anniversary of the London Underground, and 2013 UK £2 Two-Coin Set. Both coins are presented in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued.
