An English collection of mid-20th century tableware comprising a cup and three matching saucers. The set is moulded from a dark brown phenolic / bakelite? resin featuring a dense confetti or mottled decoration with integrated granules of red, blue, yellow, white, and orange. The cup is of flared conical form and is fitted with a distinctive geometric handle with an angular exterior and a triangular aperture. Each circular saucer is designed with a broad, flat rim and a shallow central well. The underside of each saucer is impressed with a circular mark reading 7 and MADE IN ENGLAND.
