The box features two independent hinged lids constructed from brass?, each engraved with a stylized illustration of a hand holding a fan of playing cards displaying the four suits amidst swirling lines. The body is formed from a black metal material, , and is raised on four small brass? bun feet. A central swivel handle, featuring a brass? frame with a black inlay, secures the lids when positioned upright. The interior is divided into two equal compartments. One compartment contains a deck of souvenir playing cards featuring mountain imagery and the printed text ANNAPURNA.
