An oak side table of rectangular form in the Jacobean Revival style?. The table features four barley-twist legs joined by a lower rectangular shelf and a top with a simple moulded edge. Included with the table is a lidded sewing box upholstered in a gold-patterned damask? fabric with fringed trim. The box contains a wooden internal tray and an assortment of vintage sewing notions. Among the contents is a red cardboard box printed with 7″ Shears Pinking CHROME SHEARS, MADE IN ENGLAND BY NEWEY BROS LTD and FOREIGN. Also included is a needle card printed with SEWING SUSAN 49 SILVER EYE NEEDLES WITH THREADER. The collection further comprises various thread spools on wooden and plastic bobbins, ribbons, and elastics.
