This collection features a variety of glazed ceramic items decorated with floral and botanical themes. Included is a Portmeirion earthenware cylindrical pot, part of the Botanic Garden range, featuring a transfer-printed illustration of GOSSYPIUM BARBADENSE (Barbados Cotton) with yellow blossoms and green foliage. The base bears a green printed backstamp consisting of a central crest with the text THE BOTANIC GARDEN circa 1818, a scroll reading PORTMEIRION MADE IN ENGLAND, the name SUSAN WILLIAMS-ELLIS, the date 1972, and outer circular text reading DISHWASHER PROOF OVEN TO TABLE FREEZER & MICROWAVE SAFE. The lot also contains a neoclassical lidded urn with twin handles and a pedestal base. The white porcelain body is decorated with a multi-coloured floral spray, complemented by gilt highlighting on the fluted neck, lid finial, handles, and base. Also present is a small wash pitcher and matching scalloped basin set, both decorated with pink and yellow floral transfer prints. A small decorative dish with lobed corners is included, featuring a dense chintz-style pattern of a bird amidst flowers and a green-painted rim.
