A collection of UK pre-decimal coins comprising various copper-alloy and nickel-brass issues housed in transparent plastic coin flips. The group includes dodecagonal nickel-brass threepenny bits featuring the George VI thrift plant reverse and the Elizabeth II crowned portcullis reverse. One specimen is clearly dated 1952. The collection also contains copper-alloy pennies and halfpennies depicting the seated Britannia reverse with trident and shield. Several handwritten paper reference slips are included within the sleeves. One white slip features a list of dates from 1946 to 1957, with the additions 1965, Wanted, (2), and 1939. A second slip is annotated NONE MINTED followed by 1923 1924 1925, SAVE 1926, ALL 1912 1915, 1918 1919, and KN H with NOT written underneath. A third white slip lists dates including AVE 1930, 1931, 1932, 1940, NE, and a run from 1941 to 1947. Two small white adhesive tags reading 1225 and a circular tag marked (6) are also present.
