A vintage 9ct yellow gold signet ring featuring a rectangular head inset with a flat black onyx plaque. The onyx is applied with a white metal Gothic style initial , which is grain-set with approximately thirteen small round-cut diamonds. The ring is constructed with a wide, tapering yellow gold shank. The interior of the shank bears multiple impressed marks in two separate locations. One punch reads 14K. The second area consists of a series of four marks, including the letters GBS within a rectangular cartouche and three additional symbols that are not clearly legible due to surface wear.
