A 9ct gold necklace featuring a large circular Saint Christopher medallion pendant. The central yellow gold medallion depicts a high-relief scene of Saint Christopher carrying the Christ child through water, supported by a staff. This central disc is set within a contrasting rose? gold frame decorated with an embossed repeating foliate pattern. The pendant is suspended from a substantial curb link chain by a tapered bail. The bail and one of the terminal chain links are stamped into a rectangular cartouche with the characters 375, indicating 9 carat gold; other adjacent hallmark symbols are not legible.
