A large hand-blown Italian Murano art glass figurine of a standing clown. The piece features a light blue top hat with a darker blue brim and textured yellow glass hair. The face is fashioned from white glass with applied red glass nose and mouth details. The clown wears a prominent ruffled cobalt blue glass collar. The main body is constructed from clear glass containing internal multicoloured zanfirico-style glass canes in red, yellow, blue, and white. Two circular green glass buttons are applied to the torso. The figure is finished with white gloved hands, one of which holds a multicoloured spherical glass ball, and stands upon large, solid black glass feet.
