A pair of hand-blown polychrome glass clown figurines, produced in Murano, Italy. The first figurine is depicted wearing a black top hat and a green coat with a ruffled collar, featuring a torso with internal multicoloured vertical stripes in the zanfirico style. The second figurine wears a red hat and a blue coat, with a clear glass body containing multicoloured macchia speckled inclusions and orange buttons. Both figures are completed with applied white hands and oversized black shoes. One figurine bears a silver foil label to the torso, featuring the text MURANO and MADE IN ITALY surrounding a central logo of a glassblower.
