A pair of sterling silver berry spoons, originally manufactured during the George III period and later embellished during the Victorian era. The spoons feature a parcel-gilt finish with high-relief repousse decoration in the bowls, depicting a variety of fruits including a pineapple, grapes, and a pear set against a stippled and foliate background. The bowls are finished with a distinctive scalloped, shell-like rim. The handles are chased with scrolling foliate and floral patterns, leading to terminals engraved with a family crest depicting a cubit arm in armour couped and holding a branch.
