An Edwardian Silver four-trumpet epergne manufactured by William Gallimore and Sons, Sheffield. The central arrangement consists of a large trumpet vase with fluted details and a ruffled, wavy rim, supported by a stepped circular base. Three smaller, detachable trumpet vases with matching ruffled rims are held on scrolling arms. The base is struck with maker’s marks including W.G and S, . It also features the stamped registration number Rd 605570, dating the design to approximately 1912. The internal weighting filler has been removed from the base.
