A mid-20th-century lithographic print on board depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The subject is portrayed from the chest up with a radiant halo, long wavy brown hair, and blue eyes. He gestures towards his exposed flaming heart with his left hand while raising his right hand in a gesture of blessing. The heart is encircled by a crown of thorns and surmounted by a small cross, and stigmata are clearly visible on the palms of the hands. The piece is set within a cream-coloured mount and housed in a large, ornate gilded frame with scrolled and beaded decorative mouldings. No signatures, dates, or inscriptions are visible on the front or the verso.
